Fees & Billings
We have a policy of charging a fee for services and settlement is required in on the day. We charge $90.00 for a standard consultation and a higher fee for longer consultations. A separate fee sheet is available at reception.
Consultations related to Workcover, TAC and DVA will usually be charged to the relevant authority if accepted. In certain cases, the patient may, however, be responsible for payment of the fee and obtain reimbursement at their own convenience from those relevant authorities. Please discuss with your GP regarding these fees.
Telephone Access
Doctors may be contacted by phone during surgery hours. A message will be taken by reception and will be left for the doctor. The doctor will generally return your call when available. In a genuine emergency, the receptionist will inform the doctor directly.
Repeat Prescriptions and Referrals
A repeat prescription and / or referral requires the doctor to monitor your health, assess your condition and make a medical decision. To fulfil our professional and ethical responsibilities, we request that patients consult with the doctor for this.
